Das Problem des Platzes beim Selfpublishing von Comics, Mangas, Bilderbüchern, etc. - The problem of space in selfpublishing comic books, mangas, picture books, and so on

Mehr Comics drucken, heißt: Günstigerer Preis

Print More Comics, means: Lower price

Anyone who ever has leaving produde comics, mangas, picture books, catalogs or even novels of his own, presumably knows the following problem:

That the price per piece is not too high, you have to print many copies.

This sometimes can be even 1000 to 2000 pieces, that you can offer and also sell the comics / mangas / photos books at a reasonable price.
Besides the fact that it is a considerable challenge to promote so many comics, mangas or picture books sell them and touch a lot of money for the printing, we have a quite different problem after production.

The photo here shows it: The storage area!

These are the boxes of about 2,200 postcards and 2,000 comic books. In previous years I had produced repeatedly Comics and postcards at a online print shop, roughly twice as so many boxes. Now there is not much missing to a boxes!
And here they are, the freshly printed copies - and sleep the big sleep.

If you look to this fortress of boxes, inevitably comes the thought - at least I feel like this:

Nie wieder auf gut Glück solche Massen an Comics produzieren!

Never again produce on good luck such masses of comics!

Doch was nun? Wie geht es weiter? Davon will ich euch in nächster Zeit schreiben.
But what now? What is next? From this I will write to you in the near future. Perhaps my mistakes are a reminder and you do it not like me - better. But: By mistake you will be wise! Maybe we'll find a way together - or even more ways.

Here a message to my American friends. I see that my comic strip blog is like to be called by people of the United States of America. Would someone like to help me and translate my texts into better English than I can do this? I would offer some of my comic books and postcards as a gift and even an original MirRoy drawing! Thank you very much!
The offer also applies to translators from other countries!
